The most famous substance maker on YouTube has made an agreement with Amazon MGM for his most memorable streaming series after the studio wins an offering war. The gigantically famous YouTube star has figured out an agreement with Amazon MGM Studios for his most memorable customary television series: A rivalry depicted as “the greatest reality contest series in TV history.”
The hugely popular YouTube star has struck a deal with Amazon MGM Studios for his first traditional TV series: A competition described as “the biggest reality competition series in television history.”
The project is based on his YouTube show and titled Beast Games. It will feature 1,000 contestants competing for a $5 million cash payout. The prize is touted as the biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming.
Sources say Amazon outbid at least one major streaming rival to make the deal with MrBeast, a.k.a. Jimmy Donaldson, who is the most popular content creator on YouTube. Donaldson also negotiated the right to retain creative control of the production.
“MrBeast has caught the consideration and creative mind of devotees, everything being equal, from varying backgrounds, and everywhere,” Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, said in an explanation. “We are eager to work with Jimmy and his capable group to bring his splendid, high creation, and stakes-raising ideas to Monster Games for our worldwide clients to encounter.”
While the show will include as many as six hours of content, Donaldson needs to bring a feeling of YouTube-like validness to the non-prearranged show.
“It will seem to be an ordinary game-show. It will have the Monster feel yet make it all the more high-spending plan,” he said in the meeting.
MrBeast is one of the most famous YouTube channels on the stage, with 245 million supporters. Lately, every one of his recordings effectively outperforms 100 million perspectives, and on occasion has pushed a portion of a billion. Donaldson told Time Magazine in February that he brings in about $600 million to $700 million annually, but reinvests this income into creating his high-budget videos.
