Prepare for Valorant on PS5 and Xbox! At the Summer Games Fest, Riot Games finally announced that Valorant is coming to consoles, with the Limited Beta scheduled for next week. Although Valorant has been a PC-exclusive game for a while now, Riot Games has decided to take a completely new direction.
According to Andy Ho, Valorant’s executive producer, and production director Arnar Gylfason, Valorant has been ported over to consoles while still keeping the core of the game the same as its PC counterpart. Although the Valorant experience will stay the same, there will be no cross-play between platforms since there are differences in the ways that each version is controlled.
Valorant Console Limited Beta
The Console Limited Beta will be exactly the same as the original Valorant game when it comes to content and balance updates. However, you will have the opportunity to use a shared inventory for cosmetics and progression across the two versions. That way, you won’t have to buy the same skins twice. Talk about budgeting!
Although the Valorant Console Limited Beta will offer many benefits, it will initially be accessible only in selected regions. If you’re from the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, or Japan, you will definitely have the opportunity to try out the new version of Valorant. Unfortunately, we still don’t have any information about a further expansion.
Valorant Console Limited Beta Release Date
The Valorant Console Limited Beta is scheduled to be released on June 14 at 1 PM PT. Everything is expected to go smoothly, so don’t be afraid to try out the new version of Valorant as soon as it drops on Xbox and PlayStation!
According to Valorant developers, adding the game to the new platforms will not bring any big and unexpected changes to the game as we know it. Players will still get to enjoy the same uncompromising, competitive experience that has been available to PC players for years.

Sign up for the Valorant Beta or get a referral link from someone who got an invite from Riot Games
Live in the NA, EU, or JP regions
Have a Valorant Account in good standing (no current bans/suspensions on Valorant or Riot level)
Own an Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation
